Rx8 Greddy turbo help
Rx8 Greddy turbo help
So I bought a Greddy manifold , wasn't looking for one for the rx8. Was supposed to be a Cosmo one. And when it showed up .... It's for the rx8.
i only got the manifold.
Which turbo can I put on here and I'm ok if I have to use adapter or spacers to make it work.
What's my options ?
Gt28 off eBay is $100 will this work ? Or td04 stuff . I'm clueless on turbo sizing for the renesis nowdays.

Hope not. But if it happens it happens. Almost done taking the motor out for the 2nd time. Sending it to rotary resurrection for a street port & full rebuild at the end of the month. I'm not trying to make fd power but I would like to make somewhat decent. My goal would be 250-280 to the wheel if possible on 7-10psi. I haven't touched this car in 8 years so it's been a long time since I've been on the site and read up on old threads. Building my FD has been fun and is all nice but I need back seat practicality. That's why I bought the Cosmo. And now that gas prices are high and I want to keep milage down it's parked as well, it's just just for cars and coffee type stuff. 20bs with automatics don't get the best milage. But sure are fun at The Tail Of The Dragon.
I'm mostly trying to get the rx8 up and going, few cosmetic upgrades to make it look newer and get some power too while it's getting refreshed.

Good !
For the greddy manifold there are limited options due to the T25 flange . This is also what makes that manifold restrictive, contributing to very high backpressure.
A GT3071 has been patched onto it in the past with limited success. There is also the option of upgrading the T618z that comes with the kit. Generally though, you shouldn't use that manifold if you wish to make more than 300whp.
