With the purchase of a used GReddy turbo kit today, I start my journey to forced induction. I have a long road to travel until my goal is realized but I'm excited to get my first foot on the path. Of course a turbo kit is only the tip of the iceburg...

Under the hood., I'm planning on the full line of upgrades that MM offers. I'm looking with disdain at the eManage Blue that came with the kit, so I have to weigh the options: Hymee's PCM flash tuner is under development, the eManage Ultimate gets the job done, and an Int-X would dominate...both my setup and my budget. Mazsport's Ignition Upgrade is a no-brainer as, at 33k, I'm likely due for new coils and plugs anyway. I also like, and am considering the Syncronic BOV.

Inside the car. I'm looking at installing a carputer with (in dash) 7" Transflective touch screen for sCANalyzer, GPS, and MP3 audio storage/playback. The RB Gauge Kit will replace my ashtray because it looks smart and smoking is a nasty habit. A GReddy PRofec E-01 (location undecided) is also on the list.

Undecided. I have no idea who will/where will/when will install. I probably need to upgrade the stock exhaust, but I'm unsure which way I want to go. For the exterior I prefer stock excepting the strakes and eyelids I've already installed, although I feel tempted to get a nice 5-6 spoke dark gunmetal rim with polished lip.

Of course, based on the recent weather, I may never get my 8 out of storage as we seem to be headed into an ice age. If Wisconsin sees another winter like this next year I've already decided I'll move south...

...because garaging my 8 causes me pain.
