rev-limiter, AT, and NOS?

I have an automatic rx8 and it is one of the 2004 models that seems to have a governor on it for around 125mph. My question is, if I were to install a NOS system in this car, without a tune (at the moment), what would happen if I hit the rev-limiter, which is around 7400RPMs, or if I hit the 125mph governor? Am I right to assume that the NOS would keep spraying but the fuel would be cut by the ECU? So BOOM?
I am not too worried about hitting the actual 125mph limit, but more so with the rev-limiter in 2nd, and 3rd.

Thanks!

if you hit the rev limit it's a prety safe bet things'll get interesting. It has 200 RPM hystereris which means you'll be locked out till it drops down to 7200 RPM.... not that it matters much... is the 200 RPM lockout going to be enough to make things go boom? dunno for sure but I bet Easy does.

access port can adjust the rev limit well beyond 7400 RPM but it won't eliminate a speed governor (assuming it's in addition to the rev limit). It can also adjust the rev limit hystereris.
