Can one expect any gains from this combo, (RP supercat,RB Exhaust and revi) or is it only more noise?

 

You would probably get about 10whp max. Don't expect much more.

 

It's not much, but it's something I'm still a bit worried about the noiselevel from the exhaust.. I guess it will be possible to quiet it down somehow if it's to bad.

remember it will quiet down after it has been installed for a while, and just as most exhaust components they get louder after they have been warmed up. mine sounds mean as hell after driving for a while

 

I have the hks legamax and purchased the Rp supercat, i know it passes smog but will cops pull you over cause its too loud? and think this combo will sound nice?

 

i dont know if that combo will sound nice, but i really doubt that any cop will pull you over for being too loud with this exhaust. just dont floor it near any cop and you'll be okay.

just let off the gas or hold the gas so you arent decellerating or accelerating and the exhaust will go practically silent. even with my straight pipe i can make my car go silent while cruising at a constant speed...unless its uphill haha.

Any concern over running at WOT on tracks with db limits? E.g., between 5-6 at Laguna Seca?

Shouldn't be an issue. I've been on several tracks throughout the midwest, even with the supercat/cat back combo there are still cars MUCH louder than mine out there....like the Spec Miatas and 944s, for example...

 

anyone have any recent sound clips? I can't seem find an RP / RB clip.
