I'm currently installing my zex kit and I've come along to the wiring portion of the install. I know I need to run the red wire through the fire wall but wasnt sure off the top of my head if there was a location which could be used stock to slide the wire through. If not, then where should I try to locate the wire? My other question is where it's best to get the power from? I know it needs 10 amps but is there an accessory slot in the fuse box I can use? Then the last question is where I'm supposed to tap for the throttle wire. Thanks in advance for the help

 

Did you check CRH Nitrous thread? He might have covered some of this there? I don't know for sure.

I've called him and he didnt answer. Rather sure I found my answer on the power (seem to have missed details on his thread). Going to look to see if I can find some pictures of the throttle tap though.

 

He's out in AZ and may not respond to a call. I haven't tried myself so who knows. But he's worth talking to if you're apprehensive about something that you may not be familiar with. From what I understand, he's quite good with the nitrous stuff and is pretty much considered the go-to guy in the 8 community here for it.

I use the cig. fuse, which I'm pretty sure is 10 amps for the power to my unit, and heater. Including being the REM wire for the amplifier. The place a sent the 12v wire through was the space below the master brake cylinder.

The color of the throttle body wire is in a picture somewhere on this forum
