I'd be interested in seeing some of those sites. I know how ridiculous a professionally installed direct port multistage setup can get with all the safety pre-cautions and convience gizmos. I cant imagine what a functioning top of the line progressive controller with all the bells and whistles runs for.

You could spend the equivalent of a decent turbo setup on a directport application in some cases.

LOL, ahh Nelson is just venting, he aint giving up the juice! Bill and I are nailing down a good N/A tune as we speak, taking small steps in the fuel mixture tables to get to target Lambda and once this is done (hopefully within this week) i hope to get a dyno session with a couple diff maps to upload after each pull to see where we are at as far as the numbers. THEN, when the most efficient map is known, we will start to pull timing in small steps to see what effect on hp it has. Hopefully the power loss from pulling a couple degrees of timing (which is all we should need for 75 shot) is negligable compared to the benefits of being able to run 75 shot safely. Of course i would rather have the BHR ICB for running 75 shot+ (without the need to run with pulled timing on normal driving) but for now this seems like a fun project Of course we will attempt to be as safe as possible with all of this. It will take time though. Hopefully everything plays out. I remain optimistic. With the help from Ray and everyone else on this thread im thinking its doable.

LOL, yes Ray you are correct. I was reffering to the process as a whole (small steps), i failed to word correctly. I am aware that is optimal to pull more timing that is needed and work your way back slowly advancing it.

Thanks for lookin out!

I flashed edit 2, but only got a few minutes of driving in (was really late, i just couldnt wait) so i didnt get to log data in manner needed. Right now (and for past day and a half) there is has been HUGE storm hittin Dallas in the chops. Will prob be till later tomorrow or even Thurs. before i get some good data. Car felt pretty good though, i dont wanna jinx it so will just have to wait for results. I think we are getting close to the target.
