Newbie to RX8's wants a tripple rotor.

A 20b conversion will cost more than twice what rebuilding an engine and then turboing it costs. That's also only true if you are mechanically inclined and can do most of the job yourself...

If you think that 260rwhp or so to the wheels would be enough find an used greddy kit, read about how to fix it here, rebuild\upgrade the snail, find a way to tune the car properly (reflash through accessport\mazdaedit or go standalone, no piggybacks allowed ) and enjoy it.

Maybe I've got a bit carried away.
Turbo charging was my first thought but sourcing one in the UK seems virtually impossible and expensive, especially as I would the have to fit, modify and add to the kit. Maybe the article I read made it seem to easy. Then finding a fresh engine for less than a turbo kit seemed too good to be true. More research is defiantly needed but at this point I will not be ruling anything out. Thanks to RIWWP for some down to earth answers, cheers. Will keep you posted on what happens.
