ITB prototype almost done. You reuse your factory sensors. It is a plenum stlye ITB set-up. This is for off road race set-up and is intended for race/track application. This is also included in my Eaton TVS s/c kit comming out next year. You can use the ITB's in N/A form and if you buy them before the s/c kit comes out, the price of the ITB's will be deducted from the s/c kit price. Best results will be seen with an aftermarket EMS tune. Also included in the s/c kit is a vmount set-up and mini battery relocation and oil filler neck relocation.

Your system will probably retain the intake in the stock location though, ours needs a battery relocation.

ITBs are so possible, but.... very very costly. also if you think your 8 is loud now your in for a little treat. gas, good luck on that. wit itb's you looking at like 13 mpg highway, no joke. well there are some up sides and downs but good luck.

Not really, it mostly depends on the tune.
We're experimenting with this ITB setup to see if we can get rid somehow of the intake that chokes the engine at high rpm (above stock levels) since this is the only way of getting some numbers from the 13b-msp.
We're also retaining a sort of airbox like the one that the old bmw m3 e30 have, dunno if you get me :)

now, on to the good things.
We will keep the stock TB motor but probably let the tertiary TBs open with the stock solenoids instead of working all together. Still discussing this to keep low rpm driveability and noise to a low level.

I helped designing part of this system but it will be installed and finished by a friend of mine that will also do some dyno pulls.

The biggest problem will be making the airbox from where the throttle bodies will breathe, it will look like this but in fiberglass or plastic.

Bad thing is that there's no room to make a mechanical injection set-up with this engine since the injectors would have to be positioned in a determined way and some intake trumpets would hit the firewall. That was another idea but it can't be realized.

Looks awsome, your way is ideal for full on N/A as you said. My way is really made for the S/C kit but will work in N/A form. I believe mine is less complicated thus keeping it cost effective and offering it in my s/c kit. I believe it will work best if you keep the secondaries closed and use a solinod to open the secondaries. The stock parts can be used. I really cant wait to see both of these done.

I am waiting for completion of my project and will send for a patent.

Uhm, the first airbox proto in fiberglass was horrible so i trashed it. I will make it out of an aluminium panel after i come back from my holidays :)

We're planning to do 2 stages: the first one will be a "test" to see how and if it helps top end power: Single throttle body and 6 air horns that suck air from the airbox (2\3 airbox tests from 2.6 to 3.9 litres). If we see an improvement with this set up then we will start to work with the real individual throttle bodies :)
