Huge Looking Turbo at SEMA

Check out the 8 at the bottom left. The turbo looks huge. Are there any other pictures of this?

Driifter d, just wanted to correct you on what front bumper this is: it's an Extreme Dimensions competition front bumper.

So it is an REW using renesis throttle and intake manifold... unless my eyes are deceiving me. I'm guessing they are retaining the drive-by-wire, ABS, TCS/DCS, etc. with that Electromotive Tec3 stand-alone?

you're right on the kit above. however, i responded to dan-o-mite's question. he attached a pic of the blue 8 in his post. the front bumper on that kit is the Carisma Autotec Air Force One kit.

I agree, it does look more like the Renesis (MSP?) in that respect.

From that angle, that doesn't look like the REW's upper intake manifold. Looks like the RX8 manifold.

EDIT: DOH! Someone beat me to it.

Yeah. I guess it was an MSP. I didn't really stare at it for long. Sorry.

I wonder how much a mod like that would cost
probably would have to drop the 401k for it

Nah. A Tec3 system for the 8 would only run about $3500.
That custom turbo is doable for less than $6k. <$4 if you do it yourself.

Now, the coach-work is another story...
