Direct Port Nitrous System on my RX8??

Is it possible to install a direct port setup on the Renesis? I'm afraid I know very little about rotaries. I bought my RX8 simply because I think the simplicity of the rotary's design is an awesome idea. I used to own a Honda, so that's what I'm used to, so please forgive me if this is a dumb question.

So far it hasn't been done to a large exstent, although there are a few here. Mixed results as far as I have seen with the 8. I am planning a small shot ~50hp or so. It certiantly has worked well in past rotaries.

The safest way to go is wet .wet system cost more money but can save you a big headache at the end .

So what are the intake runners like on a rotary? Are they similiar to how they are in most regular engines, where you can simply drill holes in the individual intake runners and install the jets??? Or is it different on the rotary? Are there any downfalls in installing a wet system with a single jet in the actual intake piping like most people do, as far as more nitrous getting to the first rotar the intake air reaches as opposed to the second?

Iam not sure what you mean but ill look up a picture to show you how they look.why go through all that work when you can just tap in the intake.

Because I'm worried that the nitrous wouldn't be evenly distributed between the rotors and that one rotor would get more nitrous than the other. This is a common problem with cylinder engines. I had a friend back in college that had a 2000 civic, and tapped a wet nitrous system into his AEM intake tubing. More nitrous would get into the first two cylinders than the other two, and he ended up blowing his engine. That's where a direct port system comes in handy. All of the nitrous and fuel is evenly distributed into each cylinder and/or rotor.

^ that was more than likely due to nazzle placement issues, possibly jetting issues as well. I'm not a rotory guy (yet) but i have sprayed damn near everything else under the sun and can honestly say a single nozzle is very safe if it is installed properly. Where must people mess up is the nozzle placement. They end up with fuel puddling which is not good.
