Is the APV motor vacuum tight?

I just finished getting my turbo build together. Car was running mint before I parked it halfway through february. I didn't want to bother with the aux ports so I made block-off plates for the intake. I pulled the APV motor off for clearance to do my intercooler piping. I figured why bother putting it back on. When I tried to start the car it's cranking hard but not even trying to start though. The only loose end is that motor being off. It does have a gasket so I'm just wondering if I've given myself a big enough vacuum leak not to start.

There is so much going on here but a vacuum leak related to the removal of the APV motor is likely not your problem.

I do not have the APV motor on my car, and it starts fine. I do not think thats your issue.

Excellent, is it safe to assume that it won't be a significant boost leak either then?
