You could use a Renesis to get those numbers, or if you're not comfortable with that a 13B-REW and still have reliability. Just throwing it out there because it would be a lot cheaper.

wait so the 20b will only do 350-400?? i thought it was this miracle worker.... couldn't u just spend haldf the money u used to buy the engine and get a turbo and whatever and get around that with the stock engine?

20b na can make about 250hp. cosmo 20b with stock twins was offically rated at 276hp and 296 tq. it put out a good deal more than that as japanese cars were limited to 276hp. it's actual power output was close to 320hp and 330 tq. if you put the fd exhaust sleeves in it to unrestrict the exhaust and the power and give it a mild port you can easily have well into 400 hp.

the na 20b that made 400+hp was a race engine with a periphrial port. it is not a daily drive engine it idled at ~3000 rpm...

The Mpg's on my car is around 17 to 19 Mpg on highway at cruise speed not at full blass and 13 or lower on the city. The reason for lower Mpg 1. i'did have installled a custon 3.90 rear end no high RPM needed to reach a cruise speed. a 14.7 Afr at vac. and 13.0 AFR at 1 to 5 psi of boost and 12.5 AFR at 6 to 12 psig boost. and 10.5 over 16 psig of boost. Regarding about cornering the cars handle like your stock car there no powerslide or understeer. and to make 400 rwhp you can do it with only 7 to 8 pounds of boost with a T76 Q turbine shaft and 1.32 housing and with 91 octane pump gas with a great reability and streetabilty with a borla exhaust system no body can notice the diference between the sound of stock renesis and the 20b. with the full throtle there's an another story the mpg's can lower up to 12 mpgs but the HP is above 400+++ RWHP ....

I'am interested in putting a 20b in my Rx8, but worried about finding parts when needed. Does anyone know a good source.. Has anyone info on Kiwi-RE.com, They seem to have a large selection of 3-rotor parts, I assume they are 20b parts. Can anyone confirm if that's true and if they are a good source... I hear the 20b fits in the Rx8 better than the Rx7, is that a fact or just hearsay...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Here in Puerto Rico You can find a 20B for 3500.00 or less In JR Motor Connection In Vega Baja, Puerto Rico and the another source is PICA MOTOR In Bayamon, Puerto Rico. About the fitment yes is more easy put a 20b in the rx8 than the rx7 there 's much room to fitment.

You can find these motors for about 1200-1700 $$$ On eBay or any engine importer. It will take about 6-7k $$ to drop in your rx8 .. Turbo kit ,computer, fuel etc... 400-450hp easy. If you do the work yourself ..

I know very well the owner of Tokio Motor he is one of my customers,
we talk on weekly basic, so I'm goin to ask him for a 20B.
He buy all type of engines in Japan and once he have plenty of
engines he delivered them to PR in vanloads.
On a month he is goin to receive a vanload that contain a 13B cosmo engine
that I'm goin to buy for one of our friends..............

But I think that try to find one in the US (I think that you live in US)
It would be shipper, because here it would cost $3,500 to $3,800
plus shipping, that I estimated in near $500 more.
Probably you can find one in the US for less than $4,300
