Hey SSR like the new pictures, Question does the exhaust wrap come with the kit, Does it help a great deal, and since it will get very hot in that compartment is there any advantage to wrap the intakes to keep the heat fron warming up the intake charge...

Yes the kit does come with the heatwrap, and also I wouldn't suggest wrapping the intercooler piping since you want the heat to escape, not keep it in.

Thanks SSR, I'am sure your right but can you or someone out there explain to me why that's the case....

My theory was that if the charge is cool coming from outside the engine compartment and the engine compartment temp was extremely high, then by wrapping the intake would keep the cool air from warming up, so I guess that's wrong, help me understand why, thanks

We were experience some difficulties when the MAF was setup as a draw-thru, now it idles perfectly, and you can also run an atmospheric blow-off valve with the stalling consequence.

Yes the kit comes with a life-time manufacturer's warranty. We've ironed out all of the drivability issues with the kit and it is now for sale. We are working on the group buy guidelines and pricing. If you want the kit expedited it's just $5495 plus whatever optional accessories you want (if you want any).

Any particular reason you use wrap instead of ceramic coating like Jet-Hot? Generally most people go with wrap instead of ceramic coating because of the increased cost, but with this high a quality kit (and $$$) I'd imagine there has to be another reason.

I know a nice jethot coating would look alot nicer then that wrap, and would also extend the life of the piping.

A few reasons actually, first of all ceramic coating alone wouldn't be enough to keep the heat in, you would still need to wrap it. And secondly it's alot more expensive, but if you look at the first reason it's basically not worth it.

We moved the battery to the trunk, and we include an aluminum batter box with cables.

The stock strut tower bar does fit, it was just off in the pictures.

SSR since the orginal strut fits, does that also mean the plastic mazda engine cover fits also.. just wanted to know incase I wanted to try to hide the unit alittle bit. After taking a much closer look at the pics, I can't see how the mazda engine compartment can fit, No problem..

Well even if it would fit, the heat produced by the turbo and the close proximity it would have it would most definitely cause it to melt.

Looks great if you need a test pilot for the Australian / Newzealand market send one over at a reasonable price and get it marketed Downunder .

The steering works off electricity. Loss of power due tolength of cables.

I thought I read someplace you were applying for a CARB cert.

Is that true?

No it can be installed by everyone, if you cause something to break or poor fitment is your fault then we will not honor the warranty.
