Wiring diagram

Hi,

Not sure how to articulate this properly but hopefully you will understand.

I made a major '****-up' when I was trying to install my Nexus tablet (that is another story). I used the feed from the glove box for the lights for the open/tilt buttons. However, I tapped into the wires to connect to the PCB on the sat nav enclosure and I stripped the wires and I forgot I did this and turned on the lights (I think you know what is coming) and they were touching

This means the glove box light no longer works and I also found out that the green light on the instrument cluster to tell you when you have your lights on is not working (the lights do work as well as the other lights on the cluster).

There are some lessons learnt by myself and I need some help to try and find out where the issue is and to hopefully fix it.

thanks

Did you check the fuses?
My guess is the 15A ROOM fuse.

Just pulled-up an electrical diagram.
The glove box light is on a circuit with a 10A ILLUMI fuse which could be blown too.
Best to just check them all

Thanks,

Just been to the car and indeed it was the 10A Illumi fuse that was blown - exchanged and now everything is working.

thanks very much for the quick response :-)

A complete wiring diagram can be very helpful in a case like this.

If you are in need of one, pm me with an email address that will accept a 7 meg file.
