if you try to go through the back seat you will also have to remove some structural bracings of some sort... i dont know if they will be bolted in place, or if they would have to be cut?

I tried that. The opening behind the back seats is almost as small as the opening of the trunk. If you remove the plastic around the trunk latch, in the trunk, you get a bit more wiggle room and then it's pretty much the same size as the back seat opening.

I ended up having to make my own custom sub box to get it to squeeze in.

13.5 will fit, but it will be VERY snug. I had a box of that size in there once and it took every bit of my imagination to get creative enough to get it into the trunk. as far as the width is concerned, i am not totally sure. good luck with it.

I think it will fit in the trunk.. just not through the opening.. the best way to see is to make a cardboard mockup and see if you can get it to fit...

It won't fit. This JL box just BARELY fits through the trunk. You could take the plastic panel out for a little more clearance, but I don't think the extra inch (or less) will help in your case.

Couldn't you retract your bid? Or take a hit on the rating.
