As title suggests, where does it come into the car?

Yeah it plugs into the engine wiring harness I am 99.99999% sure.

That plug sits on top of the tranny.

What are you trying to do exactly?

An ODB2 reader can get it. I wouldn't know how splicing into it would work since the wires also control the heating element.

A Gauge?

You can't do it - the gauge (like an Autometer or Innovate) has the processor for the heating element in it.

The ODB2 reader is an electronic gauge www.dashhawk.com Plug and Play

Check it out.

Option 2 is to weld another O2 sensor on the car (I did my wideband that way). Cost's almost nothing.

I got the Autometer Cobalt Wideband it comes with the sensor and everything you need to hook it up as a standalone Wideband.

Then it has a data port option - so I could wire it into my EMS.

That Dashhawk can also log - but I don't think you can wire it directly to an aftermerket EMS. The Dashhawk plugs into the ODBII port under your steeering wheel - and then it gets all the feeds your car's computer has.
