What happeneded to this thread and group buy for the custom box?

Hey everyone,
I did a search for the conclusion and group buy for these custom boxes but I did not have any luck. Can anyone tell me if this person is making these custom boxes or not?

Thread link> https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/development-thread-custom-fiberglass-sub-box-rx8-41513/

Thanks
Ed

I sent him a PM but the price was TOO HIGH... :-(

Hopefully he's reconsidered his original asking price...

I am very sorry for not being able to get the group buy rolling. I am just very busy at my real job. I will have the group buy underway ASAP. Thank you for being patient.

Happy Holidays, 4080

I don't know what price he quoted you Jedi54 (and don't say) but the construction, fit and finish are absolutely first rate. One ten inch enclosure will take up a little more than 10% of your trunk. On top of that, eventhough the enclosure looks built-in, it can be removed in seconds.

Overall it is a better deal than a JL stealthbox.

That is so sweet. (see post #80 for a picture of both).

4080,

I am glad you are going to do a group buy with the forum's blessing.

JL Stealthbox

Mr. Wiggles, do you know if JL is currently producing a stealthbox for the rx-8. I would be curious to check it out. I went to their website and they didnt have anything listed for us.

Dre,

I was referring to JL's stealth boxes in general. The current word is that they don't even have one in development for the RX-8, BUT at CES in a month, I will be sure to ask.

JL MIGHT have a different loading scheme IF they develope one for the RX-8 (i.e. slot loaded), but their construction will not be any better.
