How about just having a 69 in the backseat. That is more entertaining

Are you condoning a lude and illegal activity? Damn coppas, always think they're above the law.

The amp(s) are the important part, 6x9 or otherwise. Did you have more input, or just '6x9 in the quarter doors'?

It's not illegal if you do it in your closed garage

But anyways about the speakers... yeah you could probably do it (although i have no idea how much extra space there is in those doors)

but before you do anything like I have to ask -- what have you done to the other speakers in the car? I mean if you have some nice aftermarket speakers with a good amp pushing all the other speakers and you STILL want more 6x9's then by all mean go right ahead. and don't forget a DIY in case there are some other people that wanna try it.

I agree with the others. The speakers may need upgraded, but it's likely that if you try and push new speakers with the factory amp, you're going to be highly disappointed.

Gather the funds for an amp as well, then do it all at once. It'll save both yur time and aggrivation for one day.

DO NOT put speakers in the rear door. Want more sound, upgrade to better front speakers and throw an amp on them. You don't go to a concert and have the guy sing from behind you all night, front stage - rear fill. There is more than ample room in the front doors to do a real kick **** set of speakers there. Concentrate all efforts on the front speakers.
