I like the stock cd player in my vehicle. But I think an rx-8 deserves something more high tech. The two custom mazda cd players aren't what I am thinking. Is there something I can do to put in a whole new audio system. How much would it cost for something nice?

We need more info. What is your budget, goals, and how much space are you willing to sacrifice. Do you have the blows errr I mean bose?

I have the bose and I didn't want to spend any more money than I had to. I upgraded the tweeters, I now have two tweeters per sail. For some extra bass I went with 1 12inch woofer powered by a 600 watt amp. I also did the aux mod and have a Sony MiniDisc Walkman. So now I have great highs, good bass, and music for hours. All in all I'm very pleased with the out come and well under $600 or so.

well I don't really want to change the speakers or add any woofers or anything like that if I don't need to. I really want to add a better cd player. I saw one that had usb input and bluetooth. But how would I go about installing that because I heard the system in integrated or something.
