Hey,

I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I have an '04...
and for some reason, all of a sudden...the navigation system can't seem to find any zip codes I search for. It can't even seem to find Philadelphia, PA (even when I type in the name of the city and don't just use a zip code....it pulls up two other Philadelphia's, from other states.

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow (sister's wedding)...and really need this nav system to work! With no time to take it to the dealer and have them figure it out...
anyone have any suggestions?

uh, try ejecting the dav DVD from the DVD-rom in the back turn the car on and boot the nav, then put the DVD back in?

I've never heard of anything like this before...

 

This happened to me once a long, long time ago. There's a setting somewhere in the menus that allows you to switch your general location. Play around with the menus a little bit ad see if you can find it. For the Philly area you need to set the range to the northeast.

 

change your region back to northcentral or northeast.. whichever has PA in it.
