Fellow speedsters,

Well, I got my first speeding ticket. Not too bad, 68 in a 55. It felt like I was going 20! Now I have to fork over the cash for a radar detector. I am not sure which one to buy, but I want a good one. What has been your experience? If I am going to spend some $$$ for one it better work great.

Also, where has anybody been able to mount it so it is as unconspicuous as possible?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Opinions, including my own (V1).

How to install, including a post of my own at the end of the thread on an easy way to install it... I think most people put it above the rear view mirror on the black stuff, but allow the sensors to drop below it. The crux is that in order to track radar, the device must be able to see radar, and therefore not hidden. The black stuff is the best place to hide it.
