Best in dash nav unit?

My old 8 had the pioneer avic-x920bt installed ( still have the unit if installing in new 8). I've been looking around at other in dash navigation units but haven't found any in stores that I like better than my pioneer.

Trying to decide if I want to sell this one and get a new unit or not. Anyone have any units that they really like and function well with a nice/easy interface?

Also on a side note, would it be a bad idea to install a small amp in the empty area in the trunk pass through cover?

That's not a bad idea for the amp other than once you did it you would probably want to lock it so people don't open it since there would be wires coming from it. I think you'd be better off keeping that one as the newer low and mid level double dins with nav are straight garbage. Unless you're willing to pay over 1k I would just hang onto yours. Honestly a pac steering wheel interface, and a LOC would do the trick ;-) I'm content enough though that I ended up just ordering a proclip mount for my phone to use the turn by turn nav :-P
