Troubles arise

Well, I decided I was sick & tired from the stock headunit not beeing able to play USB/mp3, only uneven radio freq (I'm in Europe where most stations play on even freq's and I got an American import RX8) ect. So I bought this: Mazda RX-8 DVD Player, Mazda RX-8 Navigation System, Mazda RX-8 GPS DVD, good choice for your car including the rear view camera.

When it arrived and I started working to get it installed it turned out that there's no connection for the hazard light, the unit doesn't fit in the default bracket (screw holes not alligned) and steering wheel control connections also have nowhere to go. The manual.. err there's no manual on how to connect it up...

So came back to here did a few days of looking around, searching for solutions and appearantly it turns out I need the metra kit to get it all working?
I got the Bose system btw
Any help would be greatly appreciated as sending the thing back will cost me 80 euro's, on top of the 80 i already paid to get it here.

Cheers
Matts

Looks like you need to relocate the main stereo and extend the wires to get that to work.. or use the control box that comes with the metra kit. I wish I could give you some better advice, but without having it to play with I have no idea what exactly to tell you. If it were me, I'd send that back and get the metra kit and a good head unit
