Torn leather shift boot?
Just wondering if anyone else's shift boot has torn?
How much is it to replace and how hard is it to do it yourself?
(bumper-to-bumper warrranty is over)
Thanks!

Power!!
It's super easy to do yourself. I have purchased an aftermarket suede shift boot from a guy on here that makes them. They're $30.00
His company is www.komodogoods.com
He's komodo1982 on www.rx7club.com
Hope that helps.

Extraordinary Engineering
Remove the four screws visible in the picture then remove the retaining ring and old boot. Install the new boot over the same tabs (it only goes on one way) then reinstall the retainer ring and the screws. Trim off excess leather near the white clips to prevent interference.
