A few months ago I saw a post that showed mounting the TomTom "shoe" into the center top dash panel (on models w/o Navi) so that the only part sticking out was the round swivel piece. I've been looking for this post, since I decided to do the same thing, but cannot find it. Has anybody else seen this post?
