Sub-Enclosure Help

My next project involves a new sound system, including a custom enclosure for two 10" subs in the trunk. I am looking for someone to assist me a little in regards to my thought up design. If anyone could help with either information, 3-d scale rendering or what have you, it would be greatly appreciated.

two tens? try two 4080 boxes... thatd be cool. or maybe through the center trunk access fold down divider thing, those look cool too... i think they can fit tens, but maybe not?

well, i quickly made a mock design (i apologize for the quality) of what I was looking for. if you see the attached. the picture shows about what im wanting, the two subs i want angled in (toward each other) and also angled back (pointing up) I also want to have room for my amps in the middle also angled back. the blue i would possibly like to use an acryllic sheet to enclose the amps.

Well to start it's best to get a good idea what you like/want/can afford and then build the system around that

Do you have a brand preference? I am an Alpine man myself.. I have all alpine type R speakers up front and a Type X 12 in the trunk

Then you need to decide how much trunk your willing to give to the project.. if you want bare minimum trunk space lost.. you should get 1 or 2 "4080" boxes (do a search)

if trunk space isn't that important.. may I suggest this on already on ebay 2 10"s box the price is incredible...

we need to know a little bit about what you have so far (Bose or factory HU, do you already have an amp or anything)

also to get some really good advice if you gave us a budget that would REALLY help us point you in the right direction.

I am pretty good with autocad.. I built my first box for the 8 on it before i built it in real life so if you give me your idea I might be able to build it for you..

So with knowing that.. what do you have in mind?

Thread showing all the of the trunk dimensions

I made this to give me some reference material when I built my first box for the 8..

but also a big problem with big installs is the trunk opening.. make sure you test EVERYTHING with cardboard (like i did) before you build

jl audio 10w3 is what i was looking at, i currently have the factory hu, something I will consider changing later down the road (when it becomes a little easier to do)

I have seen the 4080's but its not what im looking for, trunk space isn't incredibly crucial to me

as far as a budget, im not really on one, i mean i would like to work on the enclosure myself if at all possible, and the components i can just order whenever.
