Stereo has no sound

I checked out an 07 rx8 today and the radio in it turns on but the sound isnt working. Maybe one of you guys might know what the the problem is. Thanks!

Try pushing the FM/AM button, or put in a CD and push the CD button?

check the fuse in the footwell. when I bought my used 8 the fuse was blown. And I had the same symptoms. Hopefully, that's the culprit. I've read(through searching) that it can be as costly as buying a new oem amp :/
