Steering wheel without leather?

Steering wheel without leather?
Does anyone know if the Series 1 Rx-8 steering wheel is a normal wheel without the leather cover? Some cars just have a plastic circle not a normal textured steering wheel.
I looked everywhere for pics or threads on it without. So if anyone has a pic or info on it thx in advance.
