I believe so, but why? It's illegal since you will have no air bag. Also, you won't be able to use the paddles, or the controls on the steering wheel.

yep, what he said, it's more trouble than it's worth unless you don't plan on driving it very much. (or making it a pure show car as I've seen that done before)

I do swap my steering wheel out for trackdays and it's fairly simple to do, can be done in 30minutes + 15minutes to allow the battery charge to stop.
