sound randomly fades on driver's side door speakers?
i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before. it only happens to the driver's side door speakers. it isn't like the sound cuts out completely, but it is like the tweeter stops working and the door speaker only has 1/4 of the volume. it seems to do this when i am going over a bump or something.
i thought that if there would be a bad connection that it would either cut out totally completely or work fine. i have an aftermarket head unit with the bose sound system and i am using line front and rear outputs to send signal to the bose amp. i plan on taking the door panel off to make look for a loose connection sometime but was just curious if anyone had this happen to them and where they looked for a poor connection. i suppose it could be where i spliced in the rca connectors and will have to check that as well.

i pulled my radio yesterday to check for loose connections. i think the problem may have been the rca cable could have been grounding out as there is no shielding:
of course i could be mistaken but everything seems to be fine for the time being *knockonwood*

If your car has gps and you are using it the navigation voice trys to overpower the music. The voice can be turned off though. If you dont have navigation then i have no clue haha
