i have a challnge bose

and i have read how to connect an ipod with the adaptor

but i fingure out why to connect an ipod if you got an Sony MZ-RH1 MiniDisc Portable
that has HI-MDs


so i have a Sony MZ-RH1 MiniDisc Portable and i want to connected with the rx8 like ipod ..so i can use the factory lcd etc..

anyone has any idea how to do that?

 

I think you're in a little over your head here. You can easily put inputs into the HU and pump your sound in - but there is no way you (or any of us) is going to be able to get the unit to control the player like it controls the ipod.

Mazda does make a Minidisk OEM unit for your headunit.. but i don't think it's HI-MD - and it's over 400 bucks.
