i too thought of the sunglass spot but for it didnt fit too weel in there, that woulda been a sweet location, kinda custom sinc eit pops right down and is hidden to thieves. with a small enough unit that would be a sweet spot.

 

My wife bought me this Stratus for Christmas a couple of years ago. It's not exactly cutting edge as far as satellite radios go, but I just bring myself to get rid of it......well, because she bought it as a gift.

Anyhow, I had to take part of the mount apart to get a good fit. Otherwise, the compartment wouldn't shut flush. I used that 3M sticky two sided tape to mount it. The same stuff you use to attach those dark, window shades/vents that are popular on pickup trucks.

 

I made a custom fiberglass pod for my Sirius unit.

I would be interested but I do have an 04 without the SAT button and I understand that it will not work without that button.
