Ok, on the scuff plates, the ones on the outside of the weather strip, there is a metal plate about 12 inches long, with the RX8 logo....mine has completely come off... it looks as though there is a strip of that double sided gum (not tape) used at the factory...anyone have any experience in putting them back on? Or what that gum is that is used?

Hi, I am in the same position but I do not have the silver decal so I decided to just purchase a new set of scuff plates. Does anyone know of how to install the entire scuff plate (the entire black molding).

Sorry I don't know what type of gum they used to install just the metal plate.
Any help would be very appreciated
