Have you guys noticed that all the hex screws on the rotary symbols in the head rest have faint scratches coming off of them???

I asked the service manager about it today.. and she said she checked other rx8s.. and they all have it...


how can they have this low quality installation and inspection from the factory???

do u guys see the scratches too?

i dont have any scratches on the plastic 'rotor' in the head rest. the only place i do have a scratch is on the silver along the center console, i think from the seatbelt brushing it when i 'clip in'

But after 17.5k miles, some of the silver is wearing off the driver's side, plastic rotor seat insert, revealing the black plastic underneath.

Gives you something to look forward to, huh?

 

er.. well i just found another thread where the car had it...

and every car on the lot he saw had this problem...

i'm really disappointed that this got past their inspections...

you have to look really closely at the bolt heads.. its a very faint scratch on each...
