This weekend I decided I would try it out and only seen one other 8 out there with the interior painted like this. Wanted to know what every thinks..

I dont recommend if anyone does this that they use my method... I sanded with 600 grit... primer... and paint... and the paint does chip. It takes a good scratching but it does chip so Ill end up fixing this in the near future..and do not try and just pop the trim around the speedometer off... I broke probably every single clip thing so I ended up getting so heavy duty glue and being very careful with it..Now im just praying a hot day with my car in the sun does make the glue come off.

If anyone knows exactly what paint I should use and a reliable method that isnt going to cost me anything $100+

It cost me $50 for my body shop to paint my Metra Kit the same as my factory outside Winning Blue. Its not as expensive as you think. If you take off all the parts yourself it should be pretty affordable.
