I have the CD version of the Tech service manual (go with the book not hte CD trust me) but I can't find a diagram or instructions on how to remove the faceplat or what ever is over the radio to get inside and work on it does anyone have some instructions or photos or know where I can get some?

Check out the DIY section on installing the MP3 player....the instructions were scanned and pictures are shown....this will give you everything you need...to learn how to access the radio and remove it.
