I am installing a new center dash piece that allows for a video screen (where the navigation system is).

My question is, what is the best way to remove the center dash piece? I tried to find a thread with some instructions, but couldn't seem to find any. Anyone have a link?

remove the radio, remove two screws holding the AC vents in, remove AC vents, remove two screws holding top piece in, pull top piece off.

all the screws are right in the front, not hard to find. the radio may be a little trickier, but you can read the sticky in this sub-forum to find out exactly how to remove the radio.

really is a simple procedure.

You might want to find a PDF of the factory service manual. it will tell you where all the hidden clips and crap are.

remove center console
remove 2 screws from ashtray
remove ashtray
remove 2 screws holding bottom of radio in (i believe they are in the center)
remove jesus screw from drivers side of radio by going in under driver side dash
carefully pop radio out
remove 2 screws holding ac vents in place
remove ac vents
remove 2 screws holding top center of dash in place
remove top of dash


that should be it, but i wrote that from memory
