So I really liked Omicron's DIY about adding red map lights to the overhead console. I just wanted it to "blend in" a little better. I decided to do it using flank 194s adding them to the existing map lights. I also decided to rewire the existing map light buttons to turn the red lights on and off.

I got a pair of 194 sockets at a local auto parts store, shaved them down so they would fit in the console and wired them in according to Omicron's DIY, except that I used the negative wire coming off the switch. I also had to cut the corner out of the reflecting lens to insert the leds. You should be able to see this in the pictures.
