I think the solid colour seats are for the 09's/10's. Got to check one out this summer and looked through their new catalog for the RX8. They come in all the colours the cars do.

I personally hate it. The seats look like a separate piece to the interior now instead of the two-toned older brethren which looked more integrated. This could just be because I'm used to my black/tan seats, but from a design standpoint it looks strange. Also, I must say the new steering wheels look like toys.
