Question on Dynamat and Cascade Audio
Anyone use this? or have this installed? I'm going to be installing my system nextmonth and I know it would rattle the hell out of my car. So I'm looking a having the shop install some Dynamat and my Kenwood system.
Thanks for any help.

Hey Dominion,
Sound damping material is a great way to go to cut down on unwanted vibration, but don't spend your money on Dynamat. Go onto ebay and do a search for Ultimate B Quiet. It's the Canadian answer to Dynamat and it is WAY cheaper. I just finished using it on my '80 Spitfire and what a difference it makes. It's very easy to install yourself, using just a heat gun and some gloves. It comes with a wooden roller to get in the grooves, but I found that gloved fingers and pressure work better. Anyway, just my opinion.

I actually have some dynamat in my trunk area & trunk lid, and the back of the rear seats. Used it more just because I thought my exhaust was a bit too loud with the RP supercat & JIC titanium. Definitely cut down on my exhaust noise. Liked it, and easy to use.
