Question about Cobb year version with a transplanted engine
Hi,
I've a 2004 hi-power RX8 (european). In a short time I'll probably change the engine for a 2007 one (also hi-power european). What version of Cobb accessport should I choose in the web, 2004 or 2007?
Thanks,
Juanjo

pretty sure the AP doesn't care about the motor, rather what the PCM thinks its' hooked up to.
I would think 2004 is what you need.

Thanks. Anyway I'll also put the 2007's ECU along with the engine (it's a totalled car I bought to get the engine and sell the rest since mine's is on the 69x-70x compression values). So it'll be the 2007 Cobb version then.
One question: if I add the 2007's ECU and steering wheel, do I get cruise control working? (my 2004 car doesn't have it).
