Q regarding sub in pass through

Hello, I am novice when it comes to car audio, but I like to learn and want to try to install sub by myself.
By the way, thanks to lots of members showing their great installation pictures and experience.
It seems to me that putting one 6w0 in pass through is the best way for me. But the main problem is that all great installation I saw in this forum require good skills which I don't have.

So... I am thinking to make one hole in pass through and put one 6w0 with wooden spacer. I want to put wooden spacer inside of pass through. so it will enforce thin plastic piece when I mount sub.
What would be main problem/down side? rattling? bad sound? noise?

Or do I really have to cut pass through into 2 pieces and make another wooden enclosure ?

Thanks in advance.

ive got a friend who has 2 8 inch subs right there, one in the middle of the seats and the other on top of it near the window in the rear seat. and i was thinking if a 10 or 12 inch could fit. a 12 would be pusing it dont ya say?

There is simply no room to use a 10 or 12" in that space. If you look at the pictures of my box, you'll see that... this is with an 8" and it barely fits.
