the oil pressure warning should be flashing because technically, you have zero psi when the car isn't running. i dont know if its the same or not, but for my stri gauges, the setting is a lower limit warning light.

The nice feature also is if you silence a gauge from beeping it will retain that setting. I have my oil pressure silenced so it doesn't beep when the car is off. It still flashes though.

I was having the same problem and couldn't figure out how to silence the beeping. Finally found it answered on a FAQ at Prosport:

Q: I have Premium Series Gauges with Warning and Peak recall, how do I silence the warning beep?
A: Simple- Push and hold the button-Turn on the ignition-wait for the ceremony to finish- release button.

Q: I tried that but each time I turn the car off/on it comes back?
A: You do not have the Red wire connect to 12v CONSTANT power. That is what holds memory. White and orange wires go to ignition/accessory power or headlight switch depending on the lighting result you want.
No idea why they don't include any of that information with their gauges.

Does anyone know if there's a constant power associated with the cig. lighter? I've got my red (constant) and white (ignition) connected together to the ignition triggered cig lighter wire per wiring instructions from some thread around here. Obviously need to pull out the red and connect it to a continuous draw supply.

EDIT: For anyone who's curious about this the DIY is wrong. The red wire from your prosport premium needs to connect to a constant power source. Easiest way to do this is to run a wire from your gauge to the 15w fuse labeled 'Room' in the fuse box just to the left of the driver side footwell. You can buy a fuse tap from Pepboys or Autozone but be sure that you bring a fuse in with you and that the blade of the fuse tap is no wider than the fuse blade or it will not connect (I had issues with the Radio shack automotive blade fuse tap being too wide).

that would have been awesoem to know before I started soldering all kinds of wires.
