PR Problem with passenger side tweeter

I appear to have a problem with my passenger side tweeter.

I have an Alpine MRP-F300 hooked up to Diamond Audio components up front and 6x9s in the back. I also have a rockford fosgate fuse holder connected up front.

The tweeter produces static when going over rough roads and pot holes, and lately the tweeter has also been going out for maybe a second or two when I hit really rough roads. Only the tweeter seems to be affected. Could it be the crossover or a connection problem? There's no static noise while idle.

Anyone know what might be the problem? I've had this set-up for 2 years and never encountered this before.

Thanks.

It could be a crossover issue, but more likely, there's a loose connection between the crossover and the tweeter.
