Power Windows

I'm wondering if anyone is having this issue with their Driver side power window. Last evening when I went to put it up, it made an odd noise as thought it was getting stuck, but then it proceeding to go up. I tried it again this morning and it didn't do the same thing as last night.

Should I take this into Mazda and let them look at it?

Thanks,
Yoda

Hey Yoda;

I think I have a similar incident. What does the sound you are noticing sound like. Mine sounds like a tick and followed by pop or vice versa. Just the other day my driver side power window got stuck (for a while) when I heard the sound. Originally I thought the sound came from my suspension because the sound sounded like a spring of some sort. Weird.

Anyone else?

That's what it sounds like, the popping sound, then the tick. It didn't do this all day yesterday and so far today, it hasn't done it either. So, I may wait and see if it does it again before taking it in.

Yeah! It's the same problem. The driver side door only does that tempermentally... 'can't predict when it happens. It's so frustrating because if you bring the car back to the dealer the service writer or technician needs to duplicate the problem. Since the driver side power window frooze a few days back following the tick and pop I am assuming/hoping it has to be the power window motor in the service bulletin.

Anyone else?
