Pics of New Audio - Zapco/JL/Clif

Picked up the car today - am generally happy, although now the limitations of the stock deck show up...Not sure if I like the downward-firing subs either...am wondering if I can get more 'hit' from them if they were facing rear or forward, etc. Still plan on removing the rear OEM speakers, which are unused. Everything with labor was less than $2k.

yeah - I forgot to attach pics!

The system was built to be removed in less than 30 minutes if I 'need' the space in the truck, or attend a track day, etc.

Eventually, I'll work out some fancy-schmancy design on the verticle facade.

Clif Designs 6.5 seperates up front
JL10W3 x2
Zapco 360.4
Two line-level converters
Wire, Wood, Carpet, etc.

Other than the amp, it really can't be seen.

When I get rich, I'll have a window cut into the rear verticle facade, and replace the back of the box with something clear, and add lights and crap.

It sounds okay, I suppose. I badly need a good EQ... The bass hits pretty hard; although I've been in a car with 2 10"s which hit harder...much harder...course, it was a hatchback.

I was going to drop my amp all the way into that well--but down here in Houston I probably will have a problem with the amp overheating--I did when my audiobahn amp was mounted there--so I'm going to leave the Alpine amp somewhat raised, but in the same location.
