Passenger seat problem

I took a friend of mine for a ride the other day and when he was getting out of the front passenger seat, I heard a cracking sound. I was a little freaked out and checked the side of the seat. The plastic molding had popped loose . I figured it was no big deal cause it just popped right back in place.

The problem is...it's doing it ALL THE TIME NOW!!! Anyone had this problem and know a quick and easy way to fix it? I'm guessing the plastic clip may have become damaged. I haven't stuck my head down under the seat to check it from the back side. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Mine does the same thing, It is the side plastic piece of the bottom part of the seat. I just push on it and it pops back on. I think the plastic button might need replacing. Good to know somebody else has the same problem.

I had that problem also. Dealership replaced it under warranty and now it doesn't do it anymore.

took mine to the dealer, 3 days later broke again, Fixed it myself in 5 min.
1. Slide out the little plastic push pin, slide on a speed nut,
2. from the back side now put a screw into the speed nut, it will now not ever come out again.
