Hello,

I'm in Canada and I recently bought an RX-8 (U.S. model).
By law, every car has to have a DRL. I've been searching
and found how to rewire foglight as DRL and I did it already.

But I would like to make the parking break as DRL too, so
when I turn the ignition, both of the parking light and fog
light come on.

I couldn't find any DIY for parking light rewire. Does anyone
know how to?

 

I'm too lazy to search for how you wired the foglight as the DRL, but I might have an idea for you anyway.

The TNS relay is what turns the parking, tail, and illumination lights on.
Obviously you don't want to turn on the illumination lights at all times, so you can't just run a wire to the relay to energize it.
BUT, if you remove the TAIL fuse from the relay circuit and wire/splice what you ran to your foglight to the TAIL fuse, that should work.
