Painting the inner sealing?
Can it be done? I´d really like to have my interior all black and the boring grey color of the sealing in the car just isn´t that cool. So is there any way to get it black. I´m thinking masking all areas inside the car exept the sealing and then paint it like any other bodypart. Thoughts?

Umm, not sure how well that's going to work.
Why not just get a shop to put in a custom head liner?

Ah ok you mean ceiling. Ok now I understand.
Yeah I agree with Jedi, just get a custom headliner made. Would probably cost more and look a hell of a lot better IMO.

You can try using some dye - painting it like other body panels is not a good idea IMO.
Search for posts by WHealy, he did a crazy dye-job in his interior during his 'blue' project. He dyed mostly leather parts, but also some plastic bits, so I suppose the same type of dye could work on the headliner too.

you'd need some type of dye but I think it would be very difficult to get good results with the fabric mounted on the car. It would be difficult to control the amount of absorbption. The odds of getting even coverage and not making a mess seem low. I think you'd have to remove the headliner and vat-dye it; in which case you might as well start over with a material that you really like -- leatherette, perforated, etc. etc.
