Oil pressure and temperature sensor attachment (picture)

Here's a pic of the oil pressure and temperature sensor attachment I just got from www.japanparts.com. They don't list it on their website, but were able to get it for me. It's made by Anniversary Racing Factory. Cost me about $113 shipped, and once they tracked one down and shipped it, I had it in about 3 days.

What does this do? Does it give accurate reading over the OEM dummy sensors?

Thanks.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure with this thing screwed in between the filter and the engine, you can use aftermarket gauges to get true readings instead of the OEM idiot meters.

WHen you buy oil temp and oil pressure meter (like the Defis). You need that one.

It is the same adapter for the Subaru, Mitsu and Toyota. There are only 2 types Type A and B. I think Mazda rotary are the Type As.

So which meter did you have in mind?

If you are not mind the digital I think the Defi digital ones are quite good. Since you can get one screen and just adding sensors for the additional data you need. Save a lot of money for oil temp, oil pressure and water temp.

I have DEFI BF gauges on order right now, for oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp. I looked at the DEFI Link Display ones that you are talking about (the digital display that will switch and show you data from up to five sensors, I think). I couldn't figure out where to mount it without having something custom built, and I just don't want to have any more custom work done right now.

Hmm....

I was thinking of having it mounted on the smoker's box. I think the inner case can be taken out. The wire to the lamp is 12V if power is required.

If extra space is needed, open a space up the top and the side. Do you have the exact dimension of the Link Display.

if it is sucessful, you can have it hidden with the flap down... would that be wonderful.

get the pod from fujita engineering ... that will look nice rather than have in on the stands.
